PHYSICAL DISABILITY CARE

AKAY Care provides personal care and assistance for adults aged 18 to 65 with physical disabilities. Our registered manager will conduct a head-to-toe assessment and will formulate or review care plans if it is up-to-date and suitable for our service user’s needs.

Our carers specifically for physical disability service will have moving and handling training and can also take additional training (if needed) to be able to assist with different moving and handling equipment, splinting device or positioning equipment needed by our service users. Supporting our service user so they can optimise their level of functioning and promote their independence are our main priorities in this service.
